Kate Tolo

Entrepreneur. Co-founder of Blueprint, Don't Die, and Immortals.

Kate Tolo

Kate Tolo is an Australian-Bosnian entrepreneur. She is the co-founder and chief marketing officer of Blueprint, Don't Die, and Immortals, co-founded with Bryan Johnson. She conceived the idea of turning Johnson's personal health data into a public science experiment, pitched the concept, and has overseen the marketing strategy that grew Johnson's following to millions across social media.

Recognized as a viral marketing strategist, she is featured prominently in the Netflix documentary Don't Die: The Man Who Wants to Live Forever, which chronicles the Blueprint project and its global following. She is currently building Immortals, a longevity-focused venture.

Before Blueprint, Tolo worked in fashion — at Proenza Schouler, R13, and The North Face — before joining Johnson's brain-computer interface company Kernel in 2021. She first contacted Johnson in 2016 after reading his work on human-AI co-evolution, and spent years pursuing the opportunity before a position opened.

Born in Mackay, Queensland, Australia, to Bosnian immigrant parents. Her sister, Marianna Tolo, is an Olympic basketball player who won a bronze medal with Australia at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Tolo graduated from the University of Canberra with a Bachelor of Fashion in Apparel Engineering and Design, receiving a Chancellor's Scholarship for Academic Excellence.

Don't Die: The Man Who Wants to Live Forever premiered on Netflix in January 2025. The documentary features Tolo throughout as Johnson's business partner, documenting the day-to-day operations of Blueprint and the personal dynamics behind the project. Business Insider described Tolo as "largely responsible for Johnson's internet success."

In 2023, Tolo became the first woman to test Blueprint's anti-aging protocol — a rigorous regimen originally developed for Johnson that includes strict dietary protocols, supplementation, sleep optimization, and exercise. Known as "Blueprint XX," her 90-day trial tested how the protocol performed on a female body, with adaptations for menstrual cycle variations and hormonal differences. The experience contributed to the development of a women-specific health protocol and was covered by The New York Times, Time, and Fortune.

Tolo is currently exploring the intersection of human biology, artificial intelligence, and systems design — investigating how anti-entropic systems maintain order across biological, technological, and ideological scales.
